Youth Services

The Transitional Aged Youth Program at Visions of Hope is designed to assist transitional aged youth, ages 18 – 25, make a smooth transition from children’s services of public behavioral health to an adult Behavioral Health Recipient (BHR) of Arizona’s public health system.

The program is designed to educate Transitional Age Youth (TAY) through Peer Employment Training so that those trained individuals can then help make the transition smoother for other young adults.

As a participant in this program, young adults will be given the opportunity to exercise choice while driving their own recovery as they assist others to do the same.

Our vision is to educate and empower members to develop and utilize support systems available in the community in order to become participating members of the community.

At this time, the program is only available to young adults who are Title XIX (ACHHHS enrolled). As a potential program candidate, the young adult must have obtained a GED or high school diploma from an accredited institution.
